My entry to Mechapinoy’s in-house contest, in which I got the top spot amongst other awesome builds. The parts are from the HG Mechanics Neue Ziel and HG Gundam Double X. The armor and backpack are painted with metallic candy orange, dark stainless silver, brass trims, and varnished in gloss. The human parts are a simple gray and white scheme accented with purple hair, top-coated with flat clear for contrast.
I have always wanted to customize a super-deformed kit wondering how much I can do with it. It turns out, there’s quite a number of things I was able to apply without going over-the-top. Much of the was work painting the details using various masking techniques as well as hand painting. To upgrade the weapon system, a few add-ons were attached to the main cannon and I was able to find a scrap missile launcher from my Gundam Ez-SR HG kit for more firepower. A few simple scribing and pla plate work, and the Tiny Gargantuan is ready to go a-pounding.
